Conference events offer workshops and sessions over an entire day or more. Many core volunteer learning courses are offered as workshops at conference events, making conferences a great way to get your learning courses completed in a short period of time while meeting other Girl Scouts and volunteers. Conferences are always open to adults, and often to teens.
Currently scheduled conferences are as follows:
Discoveries (formerly Pathways)
A true enrichment opportunity, Discoveries will strengthen your leadership skills, challenge your curiosity and provide some spirited fun. Pick up to three workshops from the variety available at the largest Girl Scouting conference in Western Washington. February.
GSWW Annual Meeting
Although not truly a conference (no workshops are offered), the annual meeting is a great way to learn about Girl Scouting in Western Washington and meet other Girl Scouts and volunteers. January.
Outdoor Training Weekend
An entire weekend that gives leaders, outdoor specialists and other volunteers the skills necessary to take girls camping and explore the outdoors. Take advantage of the opportunity to explore the outdoors at one of GSWW's camp properties! March.
Women's Own
An opportunity for women 18+ to enjoy the laughter, camaraderie and fun of being at camp, while being pampered with great food and a variety of workshops and activities. Do nothing or do a lot - it's up to you! August.
Fall Experience
Learn and grow in a relaxing setting. Whether you select a course to satisfy a specific requirement, opt for one of the enrichment opportunities or choose a personal growth course, you'll be sure to enjoy the experience. Stay the weekend, or come for a day - the choice is yours! October.
