Red Cross Honors Girl Scout as a Humanitarian of the Year

Congratulations to Sarah Willard, a Senior Girl Scout who has won the Youth Humanitarian of the Year award from Red Cross of Snohomish County!

Sarah received the award in part for her eight years of community service through Girl Scouts. For her Silver Award, the highest award for Junior Girl Scouts, Sarah partnered with a local food bank to gather donations of food for families in need. Sarah is currently serving as a delegate to the Girl Scout National Council Session, where Girl Scouts from across the nation will make important decisions that will affect the future of Girl Scouting.
